Tax, currency and who takes the payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. If you pay in another currency, the amount is converted at checkout and shown to you before you confirm. Depending on where you live, VAT, GST or sales tax may be added — the exact total, tax included, is always displayed before you pay. There are no other charges.
Web payments are taken by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. That means Paddle is the seller for the transaction, handles the payment and the tax, and appears on your card statement and receipt. Their buyer terms apply to the payment itself. Your card details go to Paddle and never reach us.
The iPhone and iPad app
The Slicora app is a free download and opens scans entirely on your device, with no account and no upload. A subscription bought inside the app is sold and billed by Apple under their terms, and is cancelled in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
The web subscription on this page is a separate purchase covering app.slicora.app, where your studies are stored on our servers so you can reach them from any browser.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancelling takes one step, from your account page, and stops the next renewal — you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for. There is a 14-day money-back guarantee on web subscriptions, no reason required.
The full terms are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Prices may change in future, but never for a period you have already paid for, and we tell you before a renewal at a new price.
